Coming together as a team, let's take a moment to pause (10 secs), and let's begin with a quote from...
Philippians 2:4 - "Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others."
and from
Vicki Robin - "Life is too precious to be a spectator sport. We are no longer merely fans, rooting for the winning team. We are the team. We are the grown-ups. Whatever you believe is true, now is the time to give your respectful, inquisitive, and compassionate self to it."
These quotes show the value of Teamwork. Teamwork is a great way to live Integrity, making it real in our lives today! So, as we reflect today, let's refresh our memories on the meaning of Integrity, and take a closer look at how Teamwork brings it to life.
Integrity
Integrity means, Honesty, justice, and consistency in all relationships.
We know there are many ways to live Integrity; so let's focus on just one, Teamwork.
I'd like to invite us all to make Teamwork a reality in our lives today by...
Being proactive in communicating the needs I notice.
Teamwork isn't new to CHRISTUS Health, in fact, we see this same type of Integrity in our heritage...
At Christus Shreveport Bossier, an associate understands that data, plans and recommendations are always changing. She tries to proactively meet the needs of our patients. She is currently learning about new diet recommendations that may be needed for a patient. She is quick to communicate solutions whether that be ordering new food options or buying local produce to provide what is best.
Holy Spirit, Inspire me with ways that we can improve our workplace and the care we give to those we serve. Help me always communicate what you inspire in me and be open to ideas from others. Thank you Holy Spirit for your constant attention to the details which help unite us in our mission. Amen.
