Honesty isn't new to CHRISTUS Health, in fact, we see this same type of Stewardship in our heritage...
At Christus Santa Rosa, we have an associate who had a patient with a poor prognosis and wanted to go home for the time she had left. She had a large family and there had been some inconsistent communication between the family and the doctor. This associate stepped in and worked to get the all of the family on the same page. She found them resources they needed to help make going home easier. The patient went home and passed away soon after. The family came back to thank her personally for all she had done for their loved one.
Holy Spirit, You want us to be united in our mission and work together. This means we have to take the time to listen to each other and communicate well. Help us to hear the other and experience the peace that comes when we understand each other. Amen.
