Opening Prayer

Coming together as a team, let's take a moment to pause (10 secs), and let's begin with a quote from...

Colossians 3:12 - "Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience."
And from

Sophocles - "If we always helped one another, no one would need luck."

These quotes show the value of Generosity. Generosity is a great way to live Compassion, making it real in our lives today! So, as we reflect today, let's refresh our memories on the meaning of Compassion, and take a closer look at how Generosity brings it to life.

Did You Know?

Generosity isn't new to CHRISTUS Health, in fact, we see this same type of Compassion in our heritage..

Did you know that on a tragic day in 1937, the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, along with the entire community of Tyler, Texas were fist to help? Responding to the New London School disaster, Mother Frances Hospital opened its doors a day early to care for the victims and to provide urgently needed relief to the community. This same generosity lives on in our associates today!
