These quotes show the value of Communication. Communication is a great way to live Dignity, making it real in our lives today! So, as we reflect today, let's refresh our memories on the meaning of Dignity, and take a closer look at how Communication brings it to life.
Dignity
Dignity means, Respect for the worth of every person, recognition and commitment to the value of diverse individuals and perspectives, and special concerns for the poor and underserved.
We know there are many ways to live Dignity; so let's focus on just one, Communication.
Communication
Communication means, The exchange of thoughts, ideas, information or signals from one person to another.
So, let's ask ourselves this question...

Did you know that an Activity Coordinator at CHRISTUS ST. Joseph Village, affirms the seniors in their care with evey interaction? They always remember resident birthdays and anniversaries. They are never rushed in their interactions, and residents know they truly care. As a result, many open up to them.
Jesus, There are always those who seem to be neglected in this world. Help me to notice them and give the best of myself. I pray that I can affirm others in my conversations, helping them know that they are valued and loved. Amen.
